Let me introduce myself. My name is Shari and I have been here with The Trickery for almost five years. I am not a magician. I am even more valuable to you than that! Think of me as your audience, or the super attractive girl at the bar you are trying to impress (after several drinks, this would not be so hard to imagine). I can help you with your purchases because I appreciate great magic props from a spectator’s perspective—a really, really hard to please and skeptical spectator. I can spot invisible thread, I look for magnets and remote controls and all kinds of gimmicks. I even know what it means now if my magician friends ask me if they have flashed. I haven’t just been processing orders around here, I’ve been quietly gleaning information. I sneak away into the warehouse on slow days and examine props– out of the box and in my hands with instruction sheets fanned out all over the floor.
